Jayden Daniels Clutch Again, Commanders Doink By; L.A. Rams STUN Vikings Despite Displaced Home Game

Commanders-Buccaneers

If there were any questions before, there shouldn’t be any longer. Jayden Daniels is legit. The Commanders have won six in a row, with the last five on either the last play of the game or the final play from scrimmage, including Sunday’s 23-20 win over the Buccaneers in the wild-card round. The Commanders won their first playoff game in nearly 7,000 days, dating back to 2005 when Jayden Daniels was just five. Daniels joined Russell Wilson (2012), Mark Sanchez (2009), and Joe Flacco (2008) as the only rookie QBs to win a road playoff start (Super Bowl era). Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez made it to the AFC Championship game, while Russell Wilson was a play away from the NFC title game before winning the Super Bowl the following year.

Vikings-Rams

With the city of Los Angeles suffering a tragic wildfire, the Rams were forced to play their home playoff game in the Arizona Cardinals ‘State Farm Stadium.” The Vikings came into this game as the first 14-win team ever to not win their division and be a wild-card team. After the Week 18 Vikings-Lions matchup, Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell told Vikings Head Coach Kevin McConnell, “I’ll see you in two weeks.” Boy, did that age faster than milk. The Vikings finished the season 14-4 (including their playoff loss), going 14-0 against the field and 0-4 against the Rams and Lions. Sam Darnold shocked everyone all season with a career year, yet when it mattered most in the final two games of the Vikings season, Darnold reverted to factory settings, playing his two worst games of the season... by far. The Rams started this season 1-4 before going 9-3, finishing the season scorching hot with a 10-7 record.

How far will Daniels and the Commanders go? Can Daniels lead the Commanders to the Super Bowl? How far will the Rams go? Can they continue the trend and upset the Eagles? Comment your thoughts below!
