Daniels Leads Commanders Through Lions Den; Ravens Fall Short Yet Again At Hands of Mark Andrews

Commanders-Lions

Last year, the Commanders finished the season with four wins and missed the playoffs. After drafting Jayden Daniels, No. 2 overall, the rookie has exceeded all expectations and lifted the franchise to its first NFC Championship game since 1991. With a win, Daniels would become the first rookie QB to start or play in a Super Bowl. In this game, the No. 1 seed Lions were overwhelming, near double-digit favorites over the No. 6 Commanders. However, that meant nothing as Washington forced five turnovers, including four from QB Jared Goff. Lions came out hot, stopping the Commanders on fourth down before a 71-yard touchdown drive gave them a 7-0 lead. Turnovers decided this game, and a trick play that had Jameson Williams throwing deep to Jahmyr Gibbs was the final nail in the Lion's coffin.

Ravens-Bills

Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen, someone had to lose. Unfortunately for the Ravens, their season ended in frustration. Jackson opened with a touchdown but followed with two costly turnovers, including a game-shifting fumble in a 7-7 tie with Baltimore poised to score. This weekend's games hinged on turnovers, and despite Jackson's second-half rebound, Mark Andrews’ critical mistakes proved decisive. Down 24-19, Jackson connected with Andrews, only for Terrel Bernard to force and recover a fumble. Jackson later found Isaiah Likely for a 24-yard touchdown with 1:33 left, but Andrews' drop on the 2-point conversion sealed the heartbreaking 25-22 loss. Jackson now falls to 1-4 in divisional and conference championship games.

Can Jaydeb Daniels become the first rookie to play in &/or win a Super Bowl? Will Lamar ever get over the hump? Should the Ravens move on from Mark Andrews? Comment your thoughts!
