TRAE YOUNG SEASON HIGH 43 POINTS PUSH HAWKS PASSED SUNS
Despite Kevin Durant and Devin Booker combining for 66 points, the Hawks outlasted the Suns 122-117 behind a Trae Young eruption. A season-high 43 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds put the Hawks over the Suns for the 11th straight time in Atlanta. Kevin Durant scored 14 of his 31 points in the third quarter for Phoenix, but Atlanta closed the quarter with a 14-3 spurt, gaining an 89-87 lead entering the fourth. Dyson Daniels and Bogdan Bogdanovic opened the fourth raining threes before Trae Young’s 13 fourth-quarter points put the Hawks in front and sealed the deal for Atlanta.
