Giants fire Brian Daboll; Mike Kafka named interim head coach

The Giants fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday after a 2–8 start and a string of late-game collapses. Assistant head coach and OC Mike Kafka is the interim. GM Joe Schoen stays in place and will lead the head-coach search, with ownership calling recent seasons “disappointing” and taking “full responsibility.”
